This file needs to be saved on your hard drive as saltire.bmp

We have been asked lots of times for Braveheart or Scottish screensavers, so here is a fluttering Saltire flag screensaver. The instructions on the right are for saving and activating the screensaver on your IBM-compatible PC.

Right click with your mouse on the Saltire flag (left), and "Save Picture As" saltire.bmp in the Windows (or WinNT) directory on your computer's hard drive (usually drive C:), using the "Save as type" option to switch from .jpg to .bmp.

Then click on the "Start" button, and work through "Settings", "Control Panel", and "Display" until you have reached the  "Screensaver" dialogue box.
Set the screensaver type to  "3D Flying Objects". Select "settings". Choose "Textured Flag" as the style, tick  "Smooth shading" and set both  "Resolution" and "Size" to "Max". Finally, select "Texture" and locate and choose saltire.bmp from the directory where you saved it earlier.
